Reason for vacancy: New role to provide proof of concept for dedicated category managers as part of a new procurement strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creation and delivery of category plans across a portfolio of interiors related materials.
  • Strategic procurement professionals working for a reputable medium to large contractor or subcontractor, who can commute weekly to Solihull.
  • Exceptional strategic procurement and stakeholder management experience as this was a greenfield opportunity, with a strong understanding of the interiors supply chain.
  • Identifying candidates with the right blend of supply chain knowledge and a track record of strategically managing categories.
