A Leading Building Services Contractor is looking for a Procurement Manager & Senior Buyer to deliver a number of client contracts across the Midlands and South East. The main objective of the role is to develop and implement the project procurement strategies for a portfolio of hard and soft facilities management contracts.
Key Duties
- Develop and deliver the project procurement strategy for national hard and soft FM contracts.
- Lead end-to-end procurement with Facilities Management subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage subcontractor tendering across live contracts.
- Category management of subcontractor services and material suppliers.
- Ensure stakeholders are following procurement strategies and policies.
- Achieve cost reduction and contract profitability targets.

You will manage a wide selection of clients nationally, developing and managing strong relationships with them.
Candidate Requirements
Our client is looking for Procurement Managers or Senior Buyers who are looking for career progression. You will have a minimum of 5 years' strategic procurement experience managing FM or MEP categories of spend. You will have strong demonstrable strategic procurement experience, including end-to-end tendering with subcontractors and material suppliers. You will have strong experience of engaging with senior manager level stakeholders across operational teams.
