An expanding main contractor is looking to recruit a Procurement Lead.
The main objective of the role is to develop and deliver a procurement and supply chain strategy across new rail frameworks.
Key Duties
- Help to create alliance procurement strategies, working alongside other Procurement Leads.
- Manage stakeholder engagement across newly won frameworks.
- Manage supply chain engagement and mobilisation across newly won frameworks.
- Identify and deliver leveraging and synergy benefits across live projects.
- Manage senior internal and alliance stakeholder procurement requirements.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years’ strategy procurement experience for a main infrastructure or construction contractor.
Must have experience of setting procurement strategies for large projects/frameworks or a business unit.
Ideally, you will currently be working as a Senior Procurement Manager, or an experienced Procurement Manager who is looking for progression.
NEC project experience and/or Category Management experience is highly desirable.
Previous hands-on subcontract procurement experience is also desirable.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at director level.
