A Leading Construction Contractor is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in either London or Warrington. The main objective of the role is to deliver the national supply chain strategy for the company's fit out and refurbishment division.
You will:
- Develop and implement Supply Chain Management Strategy that is focused on maximising the use of the preferred supply chain partners and growing with new partners.
- Work with the project teams to develop project procurement strategies that are aligned with the business.
- Support the business to strengthen its relationships with supply chain.
- Lead the SS Procurement administration team to ensure they are supporting the business in all procurement admin.
This is a fantastic opportunity to strategically deliver supply chain performance improvements for a major construction contractor. This person will help deliver significant results for the business.
Further Details:
- Responsible for the management of £140m of subcontractor spend across fit out and refurbishment works.
- Working on a variety of low to high value projects ranging from £200k up to £95m.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years' strategic supply chain experience for any main contractor within the construction fit-out or facilities management industries.
- Must have a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering supply chain improvements in current and/or previous roles.
- You will be a highly resilient individual, with gravitas and the strength of character to ensure strategies are successfully delivered.
