Associate Director & Senior Procurement Consultant

A leading procurement consultancy is looking for Associate Director and Senior Procurement Consultant to help deliver various high profile capital construction projects or frameworks.
You will support assigned projects across some or all of the following duties:
- Lead strategic procurement to an allocated capital project or framework.
- Deliver commercial strategies for clients ensuring contracts are profitable and delivered on time.
- Create procurement and supply chain strategies for client projects.
- Deliver contract management throughout the lifecycle of client projects.
- Support clients with advice, guidance, workshops and training on procurement strategies.
- Support clients in the restructuring of procurement functions.
Candidate Requirements
Our client is looking for candidates with 10+ years strategic procurement or supply chain management experience within the public sector or for a main contractor.
You will currently be working as a Procurement Manager or Senior Procurement Manager with at least 5 years’ experience managing NEC, JCT, FIDIC or IChem contracts.
You will have demonstrable experience presenting solutions at board level; any client facing experience is also highly desirable.
You will be degree qualified and currently studying CIPS.
