AR Power supports UK businesses with their commercial energy strategy, helping clients secure competitive energy supply contracts while identifying opportunities to reduce long term operational costs. Alongside energy procurement, we also support businesses with renewable technologies including solar, battery storage and wider energy reduction solutions. Our approach is consultative rather than transactional. We focus on understanding how a business currently purchases and consumes energy before recommending the right commercial solution. As part of our continued growth, we are now expanding our commercial energy team.
We are looking for confident, commercially minded individuals to join our business as Commercial Energy Lead Generators. This is a business to business outbound role focused on opening conversations with UK companies, identifying upcoming contract opportunities and introducing qualified prospects to our Energy Consultant team. This is not a hard close sales role. Your responsibility is to create genuine opportunities and build relationships with decision makers. You will be speaking with business owners, finance teams and operational stakeholders across a wide range of industries. The role offers a clear progression path into Energy Consultant and senior commercial positions for the right individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Outbound B2B calling to UK businesses
- Speaking with decision makers including Managing Directors, Owners, Finance Directors and Operations Managers
- Identifying energy contract renewal dates and current supplier arrangements
- Generating qualified opportunities for the Energy Consultant team
- Booking and coordinating qualified appointments
- Building and managing your own pipeline of opportunities
- Accurately recording activity within the company CRM system
- Supporting outreach activity through LinkedIn and other business channels
- Working closely with the wider sales and commercial teams
Success in this role is measured on the quality of opportunities generated rather than simply call volume. Typical targets are around 6 to 8 qualified appointments per week, with a strong focus on opportunities that progress into live commercial contracts. This role suits individuals who are commercially aware, consistent and confident building conversations with businesses.

Commission is linked to qualified opportunities and successful commercial outcomes, with stronger performers capable of exceeding standard OTE levels. (Commission payments are linked to live customer contracts and supplier payments received by AR Power Ltd. Commission is typically paid one month after supplier payment has been received.)
