The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

The Head of Finance will manage the Finance team and provide high-quality financial reporting for the Board. The candidate would be expected to develop an understanding of all areas of the business and add value to the group.

Core Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare interim and full year financial accounts (UK GAAP) for the Company and act as a key contact with the auditors in the audit process.
  • Develop and run monthly financial control processes including journal postings and reconciliations.
  • Prepare management accounts and other monthly reports.
  • Line management of a small transactional team.
  • Cashflow and working capital management.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans and continued monitoring & review of performance against them to enable robust, regular reporting.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Experienced in the retail sector (please note a client non negotiable).
  • A high performing qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA). First time passes and post qualified experience are preferred.
  • Comfortable communicating across the Group, including to Directors.
