We are working with a fast-growing specialist finance services firm that partners with private equity houses, real estate investors and asset managers to deliver high-quality finance and fund support solutions. Their offering spans fund administration, property accounting, tax compliance, company secretarial and outsourced finance, operating as a true extension of their clients' finance teams. With strong momentum and ambitious growth plans, they are now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to help scale the business across the private equity and real estate market. This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role suited to someone with strong sector relationships who enjoys opening doors, building partnerships and converting complex opportunities.
The Role
- You will take the lead in identifying, developing and winning new client relationships across private equity, real estate and investment management.
- Working closely with senior leadership and technical specialists, you'll help shape compelling solutions and guide prospects through the full sales cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a targeted business development strategy across private equity and real estate markets
- Building relationships with CFOs, COOs, Heads of Finance and Fund Controllers
- Generating and qualifying new opportunities through networking, introductions and proactive outreach
- Managing the full sales process from initial conversations through to proposals, RFPs and contract negotiation
- Working with internal teams to design solutions that meet client needs
- Representing the business at industry events and conferences
- Monitoring market trends and identifying new commercial opportunities
- Maintaining a strong pipeline and providing clear forecasting to leadership
What We're Looking For
- Proven business development success within fund administration, private equity services, real estate services or outsourced finance
- Strong understanding of private equity or real estate fund operations
- Existing relationships across investment managers, finance leaders and sponsors
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable operating in a growing, entrepreneurial business
