Location β Liversedge Hours β Monday to Friday, 8:00am β 4:30pm Salary β up to Β£34,320 We are looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our workshop team, specialising in the installation of electrical systems and equipment into commercial vehicles.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong electrical background who enjoys working on bespoke vehicle builds.
You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality electrical installations while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and to customer specifications.
Full training will be provided on specialist products and equipment, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced auto electrician or electrical installer looking to broaden their technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities Install a wide range of electrical systems into commercial vehicles.
Carry out vehicle wiring, electrical assembly and system integration to a high standard.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
Test completed installations using appropriate diagnostic and electrical testing equipment.
Identify and rectify electrical faults during installation and testing.
Install a variety of specialist vehicle equipment including lighting systems, CCTV, power supplies and ancillary electrical components.
Complete all work in accordance with company quality standards and health and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Work both independently and as part of a skilled engineering team to meet production deadlines.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve installation processes and quality.
