We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar PV Installer to support the delivery of renewable energy systems across large-scale new build housing developments. The Role
- Working in a regional capacity, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems on new build residential developments.
- You'll work closely with site teams, project managers, and quality teams to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- The role offers regional travel only, meaning you'll be home every night.

Key Responsibilities
- Installation of Solar PV systems on new build housing developments
- Electrical testing, commissioning, and fault-finding
- Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards
- Maintaining excellent health and safety practices on site
- Completing installation documentation accurately and efficiently
- Working collaboratively with site managers, electricians, and project teams
Essential Requirements
- 18th Edition qualified (BS7671)
- Previous Solar PV installation experience
- ECS/CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of electrical installation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Desirable
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
- Solar PV qualification and commissioning experience
- Experience working on new build housing developments
