We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar PV Installer to support the delivery of renewable energy systems across large-scale new build housing developments. The Role

  • Working in a regional capacity, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems on new build residential developments.
  • You'll work closely with site teams, project managers, and quality teams to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
  • The role offers regional travel only, meaning you'll be home every night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of Solar PV systems on new build housing developments
  • Electrical testing, commissioning, and fault-finding
  • Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards
  • Maintaining excellent health and safety practices on site
  • Completing installation documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Working collaboratively with site managers, electricians, and project teams

Essential Requirements

  • 18th Edition qualified (BS7671)
  • Previous Solar PV installation experience
  • ECS/CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong understanding of electrical installation standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Desirable

  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
  • Solar PV qualification and commissioning experience
  • Experience working on new build housing developments
