Job Description: Solar PV Installer – New Build Housing Projects
£45,000 Basic Salary + £10,000 Annual Bonus (Uncapped) + Company Van
Are you a qualified Solar PV Installer looking to join one of the UK's fastest-growing energy companies? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar PV Installer to support the delivery of renewable energy systems across large-scale new build housing developments. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a rapidly expanding business at the forefront of the UK's transition to clean energy.
The Role
Working in a regional capacity, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems on new build residential developments. You'll work closely with site teams, project managers, and quality teams to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The role offers regional travel only, meaning you'll be home every night.

Key Responsibilities
- Installation of Solar PV systems on new build housing developments
- Electrical testing, commissioning, and fault-finding
- Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards
- Maintaining excellent health and safety practices on site
- Completing installation documentation accurately and efficiently
- Working collaboratively with site managers, electricians, and project teams
Essential Requirements
- 18th Edition qualified (BS7671)
- Previous Solar PV installation experience
- ECS/CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of electrical installation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Desirable
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
- Solar PV qualification and commissioning experience
- Experience working on new build housing developments
