Our client, a respected name in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a hands-on, motivated, and responsible Production Technician to join their high-performing team in Goole and keep operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and manage key production processes including tank farm intake and dispatch
- Oversee melt room operations to ensure customer requirements are met
- Carry out essential maintenance, filter runs, and routine in-process analysis
- Supervise contractors and team members, acting as the senior decision-maker during night/weekend shifts
- Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant working environment at all times
- Order consumables and chemicals needed for continuous operations
- Support and manage your shift team with leadership, guidance, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced in a production or manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
- Safety-first and hygiene-conscious; food safety is non-negotiable
- Technically savvy with strong mechanical or maintenance skills
