General Operative FLT Pocklington YO42 £13.43 - £15.45 Depending on if Dayshift Only or SHIFTS. Either Rotating shifts Mon–Fri, 06:00–14:00, Mon–Thu, 13:45–23:45 or Fixed days Mon-Fri 08:00 - 16:00.
We’re recruiting General Operatives with FLT Counterbalance Licenses for a well-established manufacturing business in Pocklington. This is a hands-on role with temp-to-perm opportunities. No Weekends!
Your main responsibility will be the safe use of an FLT Counterbalance truck and ripping & tipping 25kg bags of raw ingredients into production vessels. You’ll also support general manufacturing tasks including:
- Basic machine operation
- Quality checks
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Following chemical and process safety procedures
- Helping across different production areas when needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Comfortable with manual lifting (25kg)
- Valid FLT Counterbalance License
- Good safety awareness
- Reliable, positive and willing to learn
- Able to work rotating shifts
- Production experience helpful but not essential
- Due to the location, own transport is required unless you live in Pocklington.
