You'll play a crucial role in ensuring products consistently meet customer and technical specifications, while supporting production efficiency, quality standards and operational excellence.

The Role

As a Process Technician, you'll be responsible for directing product formulation activities, testing materials throughout the manufacturing process and approving finished products for packing and dispatch. Working closely with Production Operatives, Shift Supervisors and Maintenance teams, you'll ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct product formulation and blending activities to meet production requirements
  • Issue blending and packing instructions in line with production schedules
  • Test raw materials, in-process materials and finished products against specification requirements
  • Approve finished goods for packing and dispatch
  • Identify and implement corrective actions for out-of-specification materials
  • Investigate process issues and identify root causes
  • Provide technical guidance to production teams to optimise product quality
  • Liaise with Maintenance teams to resolve process-related issues
  • Maintain accurate testing records, production documentation and sample archives
  • Prepare and package samples for customers and quality purposes
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality and technical standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
