About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Hull. This is a hands-on role, maintaining, repairing, and fault-finding on plant equipment, with a strong focus on machine uptime, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and carry out preventative maintenance on machinery
- Minimise downtime through effective fault finding and fast response to breakdowns
- Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently
- Keep accurate maintenance records using CMMS/TPM systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Work collaboratively with other departments to improve machine availability
- Contribute to risk assessments and safety documentation
- Assist in the training of other staff members
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical or engineering discipline
- Previous experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret and amend engineering drawings
- Hands-on experience with variable speed drives, inverters, and PLCs
- Familiar with using a CMMS system (desirable)
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and keen to develop professionally
