We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks within our facility. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Pay: £12.00 PH (increase 1st April)
Rotating shifts:
- Week 1 - 06.15 - 14.20
- Week 2 - 14.15 - 22.20
MUST BE ABLE TO DO ROTATING SHIFTS
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
- Monitor production processes and report any issues or discrepancies to management.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
- Cleaning duties in an industrial environment, with the use of FLT counterbalance emptying skips.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required depending on operational needs.
- VALID FLT CONTERBALANCE CERTIFICATE.
