Our client is seeking experienced and professional Electricians to join a growing team delivering electrical installation projects within hospitals across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated electrician looking for long-term career progression into site supervision and project management within a specialist healthcare environment.
The Role
- You will work on electrical projects within hospitals nationwide, supporting the delivery of refurbishment and installation works on contracts valued up to £2 million.
- The role involves working away from home approximately 90% of the time. All accommodation and food expenses are fully paid for by the company.
- After a successful 6-month period, the successful candidate will receive training to become a Site Supervisor, taking responsibility for managing subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, professionally, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works within hospital environments.
- Working professionally and respectfully within live healthcare settings.
- Liaising with hospital staff and customers in a courteous manner.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations.
- Supervising subcontractors following progression into the Site Supervisor role.
- Supporting the successful delivery of projects valued up to £2 million.
Requirements
- 17th or 18th Edition qualified electrician.
- Previous commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work away from home nationwide.
- Professional attitude and ability to work respectfully in sensitive environments.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Applicants must either hold a valid DBS check or be willing to undergo DBS clearance.
