Our client is seeking experienced and professional Electricians to join a growing team delivering electrical installation projects within hospitals across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated electrician looking for long-term career progression into site supervision and project management within a specialist healthcare environment.

The Role

  • You will work on electrical projects within hospitals nationwide, supporting the delivery of refurbishment and installation works on contracts valued up to £2 million.
  • The role involves working away from home approximately 90% of the time. All accommodation and food expenses are fully paid for by the company.
  • After a successful 6-month period, the successful candidate will receive training to become a Site Supervisor, taking responsibility for managing subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, professionally, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works within hospital environments.
  • Working professionally and respectfully within live healthcare settings.
  • Liaising with hospital staff and customers in a courteous manner.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations.
  • Supervising subcontractors following progression into the Site Supervisor role.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects valued up to £2 million.

Requirements

  • 17th or 18th Edition qualified electrician.
  • Previous commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work away from home nationwide.
  • Professional attitude and ability to work respectfully in sensitive environments.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
  • Applicants must either hold a valid DBS check or be willing to undergo DBS clearance.
