Aqumen Recruitment is looking for Machine Operatives to join an established textile manufacturer in Mirfield.
This is a great opportunity for someone with production or machinery experience — or strong mechanical aptitude — who wants to develop into a skilled machine operator.
Full training is provided.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Operate specialist textile machinery.
- Monitor machine performance and production flow.
- Carry out quality checks.
- Make basic adjustments once trained.
- Identify faults and report technical issues.
- Complete production records accurately.
- Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards.
- Work to production, quality and efficiency targets.
What We're Looking For
You should be
- Reliable and punctual.
- Mechanically or technically minded.
- Comfortable working around machinery.
- Able to follow instructions and procedures.
- Quality focused with good attention to detail.
- Confident working independently once trained.
- Able to work both rotating shifts.
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is highly desirable, particularly within:

Direct textile experience is not essential.
Training & Progression
You’ll receive full machine-specific training, with your pay increasing as you develop your skills and competence.
There are also opportunities to progress into multi-skilled, Team Leader and Supervisor roles.
