Important Training Requirement
To be eligible for this role, you must be available to complete 10 training shifts between Monday and Friday before starting the weekend shift pattern. The training will take place on a rotating shift pattern:
- Days: 6:00am-2:00pm
- Afternoons: 2:00pm-10:00pm
- Nights: 10:00pm-6:00am

Its Rotherham site operates an extensive range of large-tonnage injection moulding machines, with further investment planned.
The Opportunity
We are looking for reliable and motivated Weekend Production Operators to join the company's Production team. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will support the production process, assist with the safe operation of machinery and complete basic quality checks on finished products. Following appropriate training, you will be expected to identify and report product or process non-conformances and ensure your work area remains clean, safe and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the safe and efficient operation of production machinery
- Completing safety checks on production areas, machinery and equipment
- Carrying out basic quality checks on finished products
- Reporting defects, non-conformances and product concerns
- Immediately reporting accidents, near misses and safety hazards
- Following approved work instructions and Safe Operating Procedures
- Meeting all site and personal safety requirements
- Completing mandatory factory and role-specific training
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records where required
- Completing housekeeping and “Clean as You Go” activities
- Keeping your workstation clean, organised and audit-ready
- Working positively and effectively with colleagues and other departments
- Identifying waste and suggesting opportunities to reduce or eliminate it
