We're recruiting General Operatives with FLT Counterbalance Licenses for a wellestablished manufacturing business in Pocklington. This is a handson role with temptoperm opportunities. No Weekends!
£13.43 - £15.45 Depending on if Dayshift Only or SHIFTS.
Rotating Shifts
- Week 1: Mon-Fri, 06:00-14:00
- Week 2: Mon-Thu, 13:45-23:45
The Role
Your main responsibility will be Safe use of an FLT Counterbalance truck & ripping & tipping 25kg bags of raw ingredients into production vessels. You'll also support general manufacturing tasks including:
- Basic machine operation
- Quality checks
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Following chemical and process safety procedures
- Helping across different production areas when needed
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable with manual lifting (25kg)
- Valid FLT Counterbalance License.
- Good safety awareness
- Reliable, positive and willing to learn
- Able to work rotating shifts
- Production experience helpful but not essential
Due to the location, own transport is required unless you live in Pocklington.
