We're currently recruiting for a Samples Administrator to support a wellestablished manufacturing business in Ossett. This is a handson, fastpaced role where you'll manage sample requests, organise stock, and ensure customers receive the correct materials efficiently.
Pay Rate: Β£12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (30minute unpaid lunch / 7.5 hours per day / 37.5 hours per week)
PLANNED START DATE OF THURSDAY 8TH OCTOBER. PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE WILL LAST 1 WEEK, ENDING ON FRIDAY 16TH OCTOBER
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage sample requests via phone and email
- Collate, prepare and distribute samples efficiently
- Order shade cards and sample stock as required
- Process shade card orders using the Carriers system and arrange distribution
- Monitor and maintain stock levels
- Store and organise sample stock
- Generate labels for all tiles, including creating new labels for new colours or ranges
- Send samples to customers, internal teams and other recipients
- Log all sample distributions accurately
- Perform light lifting of tiles and boxes as part of daily duties
Skills & Experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Confident telephone manner - you'll be speaking with customers regularly
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently after training
- Comfortable with light manual handling
