Pay rate: £12.71 per hour with potential opportunity to increase £13.89 per hour
We’re hiring a General Operator on behalf of our clients manufacturing site in Wakefield.
Role includes:
- Operating machinery and keeping production running smoothly
- Removing finished products from the line
- Packing, labelling, and completing basic paperwork
- Carrying out visual quality checks
- Reprocessing waste using the waste picker
- Cleaning machinery and maintaining a tidy work area
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to hit production targets
What we’re looking for:
- Previous machine‑operating or manufacturing experience preferred
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work well in a team
