Aqumen Recruitment is looking for an FLT Driver/General Operatives to join a busy plastic recycling and manufacturing site in Allerton Bywater.
This is mainly a physical shop-floor role, with around 80% production work and 20% warehouse/FLT work.
The role
You’ll be:
- Feeding materials into recycling machinery
- Preparing plastic materials for processing
- Working around shredders, blenders and production equipment
- Moving and organising materials
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
- Using a forklift when required
- Keeping the work area clean and safe
Requirements
- Warehouse, factory or general operative experience
- Experience in a physical, hands-on role
- Some previous forklift driving experience
- A reliable and safety-conscious approach
- Ability to work all 3 rotating shifts
You need to be comfortable spending most of your shift working on the production floor, rather than driving a forklift all day.
