We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Production Shift Manager to join our clients packaging operation. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe running of production during your assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and lead production teams to meet daily output, quality, and efficiency targets
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and company procedures
- Monitor production performance and address issues promptly to minimise downtime
- Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to achieve production plans
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Communicate effectively with other shift managers, maintenance, and senior management
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory/management role
- Background in packaging or injection moulding is highly desirable
- Strong people-management and leadership skills
- Able to work rotating shifts (6–2 / 2–10)
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
- Good organisational and communication skills
