Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Product Strategy & Vision
  • Define and execute the product roadmap aligned with the company’s digital and business objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of an online marketplace connecting landlords, tenants, estate agents, and maintenance providers.
  • Develop a vision for digital automation of internal processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify, evaluate, and implement innovative digital solutions and technologies that drive growth and revenue.
  • 2. Product Development & Execution
  • Own the lifecycle of web and mobile applications — from discovery to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Lead market and user research to identify customer needs, pain points, and emerging trends in the UK property sector.
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Work with design, engineering, and third-party vendors to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Define and monitor key product metrics (KPIs) to measure success and inform future improvements.
  • 3. Digital Presence & Automation
  • Oversee the redesign and management of the company website as a storefront and property listings hub.
  • Identify opportunities to digitize and automate end-to-end workflows — including tenancy management, maintenance requests, payments, and communication.
  • Drive the adoption of CRM, analytics, and digital marketing tools to enhance customer engagement and retention.
  • 4. Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with Directors to define strategic priorities and communicate product vision company-wide.
  • Align product goals with business KPIs and ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the development process.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support product launches and go-to‑market initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Management, with at least 4+ years in a lead role.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling digital products — ideally in property, proptech, real estate, or marketplace platforms.
  • Strong understanding of UK property market dynamics and customer journeys (landlords, tenants, agents).
  • Experience managing both web and mobile products, from discovery to delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies, UX/UI best practices, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with product analytics tools (e. g., Mixpanel, GA4, Hotjar) and modern tech stacks preferred.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with automation platforms (e. g., Zapier, Make, Hub Spot CRM).
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and Saa S ecosystems.
  • Exposure to AI or data-driven automation in property or service industries.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — able to balance strategic vision with hands‑on execution.
