We are looking to recruit a Midday Supervisor 12:15-13:15pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have a calm and positive manner with children. Previous experience of working with children may be an advantage, but enthusiasm and willingness to work flexibly as part of a team are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Supervising conduct of pupils in the lunch hall and playground.
- Setting up the lunch hall and cleaning after lunch.
- Supporting and encouraging pupils’ social interaction and undertaking first aid as needed.
Qualifications:
- First aid training/training in specific medical procedures as appropriate.
- Listening and observation skills.
- An ability to deal with parents and children with tact and sensitivity.
- General experience of children and their supervision.
- Be self-motivated.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- A good attention to detail.
- A good sense of humour.
- Knowledge and understanding of how to support children and aid their development.
- Want to work as part of a hardworking, dedicated, and cohesive team.
- Have a friendly, helpful, caring, and flexible approach.
Salary & Benefits:
Hours: 5 hrs per week Monday to Friday, 12:15-13:15 (1 hour per day)
Weeks: 39 Weeks per year term time only
