Brenzett Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • You will be an enthusiastic, child‑centred educator with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A passion and commitment to ongoing professional development
  • An understanding of and experience within EYFS
  • Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to inclusion, diversity and high‑quality practice
  • A solutions‑based approach to problem solving
  • An experience of using Tapestry to track learning and communicate with parents
