About the Role
We're looking for a talented Digital Designer who excels at both UI design and motion graphics. In this role, you'll create visually compelling, user-centred digital experiences. You'll collaborate closely with the Creative team to design interfaces, animations, and visual assets across multiple digital platforms. This position will predominantly work from our Glasgow studio, but with the opportunity to visit our other sites across the UK.
What Do You Need?
Please note - to be considered for this role you must provide a link to a portfolio or PDF of relevant work samples. You'll also need the following:
- Design intuitive, visually engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Experience with design systems, and interactive prototypes in Figma
- Create motion graphics and animations for product experiences, marketing campaigns, and social content
- Translate brand guidelines into cohesive digital and motion design systems
- Collaborate with the Creative team to execute creative concepts
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, user needs, and performance insights
- Prepare and deliver design assets optimized for development and production
- Prior experience of working in a design, consultancy, media, or advertising environment
- Project management skills and the ability to prioritise across multiple projects
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing for responsive web
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI design and motion graphics work
- Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in motion tools such as After Effects or similar
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to balance creativity with usability and accessibility best practices
- Experience with Lottie animations
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or front-end workflows
- Familiarity with usability testing and UX principles
