Marketing Video Content Creator
to craft eye-catching video assets that showcase our PC and Console titles. From social content to announcement trailers and launch campaigns, your work will inspire players to explore our games.

Aquila Interactive is an innovative publisher and developer dedicated to creating intricate and immersive strategy and management games. Our mission is two-fold: 1) to develop rich, complex, and engaging games, and 2) to drive player contributions and engagement. We aim to distinguish ourselves by lowering the barriers for small teams and individuals to create and design content for our games.

As a Marketing Video Content Creator, you\’ll collaborate with both publishing and development teams to produce compelling, high-quality video and still assets. Your work will define the visual identity of our games across store pages, social media, ads, trailers, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Create a wide range of marketing assets, including trailers, tutorial videos, store visuals (Steam, console stores), social content, thumbnails, and ad creatives.
  • Design video and still visuals for performance marketing campaigns, aligning with creative strategy and KPIs.
  • Capture and edit high-quality in-game footage and screenshots for promotional use.
  • Build and maintain visual brand guidelines for individual game titles.
  • Collaborate with internal game artists to ensure accurate representation of game aesthetics and assets.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a video editor, motion graphics designer, or similar role, ideally in the games or entertainment industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing game-related marketing materials.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience with gameplay capture tools and best practices for framing, lighting, and storytelling through screenshots.
  • Strong grasp of visual branding, composition, typography, and layout.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and balance multiple projects.
  • Passion for (and ideally experience with) strategy or management games is a plus.
  • Skills in graphic design, illustration, key art, 2D design, and creating static marketing images are a plus.
