What You Will Do

  • Lead process discovery activities, including conducting interviews, shadowing, facilitating workshops, and performing data reviews to gather comprehensive insights.
  • Develop precise and structured process maps using BPMN 2.0 and established modeling standards.
  • Create essential supporting documentation such as SIPOCs, RACIs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and contribute to process hierarchies.
  • Analyze process performance, operational data, risks, pain points, and inefficiencies to pinpoint key areas for improvement.
  • Support in-depth root-cause analysis, bottleneck assessments, and operational diagnostics to uncover underlying issues.
  • Clearly articulate and present insights to senior analysts, architects, and business stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for process optimization, digitization, and automation.
  • Contribute to pre-automation readiness by standardizing processes, eliminating waste, and strengthening control mechanisms.
  • Collaborate closely with automation teams to ensure seamless handover of process artifacts and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in adherence to governance frameworks and quality standards.
  • Actively participate in workshops, walkthroughs, and feedback sessions with operational teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all process documentation reflects regulatory obligations and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of process analysis and modeling principles, including BPMN 2.0.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, with a proven ability to identify issues, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex processes into clear, structured documentation.
  • Awareness of automation technologies and their strategic role in process optimization.
  • High level of organization, strong time management abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and actively contribute within a combined Process & Automation Centre of Excellence environment.
  • Proficiency with process mapping tools such as Visio, ARIS, Miro/Mural, or Process Advisor.
  • Understanding of KPI frameworks, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and performance indicators.
  • Awareness of automation and digitization tools like Power Automate, ServiceNow RPA, and Alteryx.
  • Familiarity with core enterprise systems such as Maximo, Ellipse, GIS/ArcGIS, Workday, ServiceNow, and SAP BusinessObjects is advantageous.
  • Understanding of process controls, risk mitigation strategies, and audit-readiness.
  • Awareness of industry regulatory requirements affecting operational processes.
  • Experience in process analysis, business analysis, or process improvement activities.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
  • BCS/IIBA analysis certification.
  • Experience supporting digital or automation initiatives.

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple business units and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic mixed process and automation environment.
