We are seeking an experienced designer to join a growing Product Design team. The ideal designer will have a passion for taking on complex problems and designing elegant, simple solutions that surprise and delight. By constantly focusing on the user, youβll create products that are not only amazing to look at, but also intuitive and useful to billions of people worldwide. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to provide expertise and new perspectives in a large organization. You should possess extraordinary visual and user interface design skills, as well as user centered design principals. You have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, you are able to grasp and distill highly complex issues and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions. This position requires flexibility and the ability to clearly communicate product direction under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills are required, as well as coolness under pressure, creative problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work in an ambiguous, evolving project space.
Qualifications:
- An exceptional eye for detail, creative and innovative problem solving, and fluency in iOS design patterns.
- Capability of working in a multi-disciplinary design studio.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects at once, and adapting to new information and priorities.
- Ability to communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and interactive prototypes.
- Familiarity with working within established design systems and contributing to their evolution.
- Proactive approach to ambiguous situations, creating clarity without direction and defining software products from the ground up.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to take and apply feedback constructively.
- Strong communication skills and an eagerness to contribute to team discussions and decisions.
- A portfolio demonstrating your design thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem-solving skills.
- A track record of project leadership, creative thinking, and cross-functional collaboration in support of influencing product features.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Keynote, and prototyping tools.
- Awareness of cultural impact on design and a desire to make inclusive design choices.
Must have requirements:
- 5+ years of UI / product design experience, both visual and interaction (not graphic design)
- Experience in UX interaction design (research, wireframes etc)
- English fluency is required. Additional professional knowledge of either Urdu, Arabic, Thai, Korean or Spanish is a must!
- Typography and font development skills
Additional Requirements:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Bachelors Degree preferred but not required.
- High level of curiosity for technology amplified by your design craft.
- Work on-site in our London office three days a week.
