Senior Specialist-Architecture

Essential Background

1. Working with RDBMS PostgreSQL and Oracle for application development, database placement, design tuning, DDL promotion, and upgrades.
2. Ideally SQL Server in addition to one of the above.
3. Designs, constructs, and oversees complex databases.
4. Develop database solutions, analyze structural requirements, and experience in designing conceptual and logical data models.
5. Self-motivated and willing to pick up new database challenges.
6. Ideally demonstrable exposure to NoSQL technology (Couchbase, Cassandra).
7. Graduate or postgraduate qualifications, ideally with experience in a financial company (fintech).
8. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Jira, Rally, Kanban, Confluence) is preferred.
9. DevOps skills (GIT, Liquibase); cloud exposure and knowledge of Ansible and Terraform are a bonus.
10. Ability to think outside the box and not depend solely on runbooks.
11. Team player.
12. May be required to work outside normal working hours if needed.
