As the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business acquisition through organic and paid search channels. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day SEM activities, including PPC, SEO, and affiliate marketing, to achieve business targets.
- Manage and optimise PPC campaigns, focusing on performance, reporting, and cost management.
- Plan and execute SEO workstreams, driving continuous improvement and aligning with commercial priorities.
- Maintain and expand the existing affiliate marketing footprint.
- Manage agency project teams, providing guidance and training to junior members.
- Support regular forecasting and budget planning exercises.
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop website content, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to the ongoing development of company websites.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in SEM marketing, particularly in LLMs, Generative AI, First Party Data, and online tracking & attribution.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with company policies, including compliance, conduct, consumer duty, and privacy.
- Proven experience in coordinating and delivering SEM campaigns, agency-side.
- Strong understanding of core SEM disciplines, including PPC and SEO campaign management.
- Excellent process management and administrative skills.
- Commercial/financial awareness.
- Strong numeracy and digital analytics skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel, Looker Studio, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SA360, and AWIN.
- Marketing experience in a regulated industry such as finance.
