We are looking for a detail‑oriented Digital Technician to support our in‑house photo studio operations and upcoming studio launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot all on‑set digital capture equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting systems, tethering devices, and studio workflows.
- Manage live tethered shooting during studio photoshoots, ensuring stable connection, real‑time image preview, and zero workflow delays.
- Monitor image quality, exposure, colour accuracy, and sharpness on set, providing immediate technical adjustments for the creative team.
- Grade and prepare fast‑turn‑around image deliverables for talent approval and live upload on set.
- Support Battersea Studio setup, pre‑launch preparation, technical training, and establishment of standard workflows for the new studio.
- Organise, back up, label, and archive all shoot assets securely, following studio file management standards.
- Oversee and maintain standardised filenaming structures across image workflows and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with photographers and creative cross‑regional Art Direct teams (local and US) to align shoot requirements and brand standards.
- Maintain studio digital equipment inventory, perform regular device checks, and report technical issues for maintenance or replacement.
- Assist in developing studio SOPs, technical guidelines, and onboarding training for new studio team members.
- Support pre‑launch testing, trial shoots, and official launch campaign production.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a Digital Technician, Studio Tech, or related creative technical role in commercial photography or fashion studio environments.
- Solid knowledge of tethered shooting workflows, camera settings, colour management, and on‑set digital operations.
- Familiarity with professional studio equipment, lighting systems, and common shooting software.
- Strong technical problem‑solving skills to fix on‑site equipment and workflow issues quickly.
- High attention to detail, able to maintain accurate file organisation and strict brand visual standards.
- Able to work flexible hours during studio setup, pre‑launch preparation, and peak shoot periods.
- Great communication skills, able to coordinate effectively with internal and cross‑border teams.
- Passionate about visual quality, studio production, and brand creative output.
- Calm and methodical under pressure, a great collaborator.
