Summary Our team is the in-house motion and video department for a large tech company in all territories outside of the US, made up ofindustry veterans from across the world with deep experience across film, animation and storytelling. We’re here to help theservices teams deliver world-class motion and video, in close collaboration with our partners in Design, Editorial and Production. You\'ll join a cross-functional team working on a variety of lines of business, collaborating with some of the best contentcreators, business stakeholders, art directors, videographers and creative designers in the world. This person will be responsible for the delivery of animation and motion graphics projects, from storyboarding initial conceptsto animation and execution of final deliverables. You’ll have the perfect balance of creative and technical skills, meaning thelatest technologies and innovations are deployed in service of the core story. Duties: Manage image schedules, expectations, resource management, and image tracking Track and manage imagery status of projects and provide weekly and daily status updates. Communicate effectively with creative and retouching teams. Accountable for risk management and unlocking projects that get stuck Troubleshoot and solve issues, drive process improvement, and recognize solutions as they emerge.Receive, compile, confirm accuracy, and distribute pertinent project information to appropriate parties. Description The team is looking for a Motion Animator to join the team on a contract basis . Responsibilities: Create best-in-class motion graphics and animation to promote stories across all a range of platforms. The exploration phase of our projects is incredibly important, so this person will be required to take existing staticdesigns and experiment with a variety of creative ways they could be brought to life via motion. Demonstrate the flexibility to work with a wide variety of design styles, creative aesthetics and artistic routes. Confidently present ideas and motion concepts to the motion team as well as wider team leads and stakeholders. Be a positive, solution-focused member of the team, with a passion for the new and exciting. You’ll be equally comfortable at tackling challenging creative tasks as well as chipping in with more of the executional production tasks. Requirements: 5 years experience working within a creative team, advertising agency or in-house creative environment. Knowledge of visual storytelling through motion. Detail obsessed, with a strong design background and awareness of current trends in both design and motion. Expert experience in using After Effects, including plug-ins, effects and expressions and how/where to use themeffectively across a range of motion deliverables. Demonstrable fluency with Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products including After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.Experience in Sketch. An excellent understanding of what makes compelling content across a variety of platforms. Intimate knowledge of MacOS and iOS, including software like Keynote and Final Cut Pro. Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules and work independently with excellentcollaborative skills. A deep understand of motion/video workflows and processes. A keen interest in emerging motion technologies and solutions. Beneficial Skills: Experience in delivering projects within APAC and EMEA regions, with an understanding of the various nuances of eachgeo. Experience in 3D, such as C4D/Maya. Experience in character/shape rigging and cel animation. Experience in more specialist animation skills, such as stop-motion.
