As a Media Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in measuring and interpreting the impact of communications activities across various channels, including traditional press, social media, and owned platforms. Your insights will directly inform strategic communications planning and execution across EMEA.

What You\’ll Do
- Monitor, summarize, and analyze media coverage across key EMEA markets, providing both qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Conduct trend and sentiment analysis, contextualizing media activity within local and regional frameworks.
- Provide up-to-date information on local and international news cycles and policy issues, considering cultural and linguistic nuances.
- Design and manage scalable data pipelines and databases to automate the collection and processing of press and media data.
- Quantify the impact of communications efforts, establish KPIs, and create insightful reports to inform global communications strategies.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and communications teams to integrate press data with internal datasets for comprehensive media measurement.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience in media analysis, journalism, communications, research, or a related field, including experience at a media agency, media analysis firm, media measurement platform, or think tank.
- Bachelor\’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Political Science, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills, including the ability to draft messaging materials and news summaries.
- Experience handling and visualizing datasets in deadline-driven environments.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and optimizing large-scale datasets.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Fluency in at least one additional EMEA language.
- Experience with media monitoring tools and measurement projects.
- Familiarity with internal data tools or similar platforms for dashboard development and analytics.
- Knowledge of dashboard design principles and user experience considerations.
- Experience with visualization libraries for customizing dashboard components.
- Understanding of metrics and analytics within press and social media monitoring.
