We are seeking exceptional talent to join their team and drive the commercial success of their expanding live event portfolio.
As a Senior Sales Partner Contractor, you will be the linchpin connecting sales, partnerships, and advertisers, orchestrating go-to-market strategies that define new revenue streams and exceed expectations. Your expertise will directly shape how premium live sports events are monetized, making a tangible impact on our expansion into this dynamic space and setting new industry benchmarks. This is a unique opportunity to operate with high ownership, low bureaucracy, and make critical decisions that propel our revenue ambitions forward. This is a 6-month hybrid contract, offering up to £769 per day – 40 hrs/week (PAYE). This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates ASAP. What You’ll Do
- Establish new client-side relationships with brands and advertisers strategically aligned with premium sports.
- Drive the sales process, designing and delivering a streamlined, end-to-end sales workflow for all upcoming live events. This includes establishing clear sales timelines, proactively managing cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring simultaneous market offers to maximize revenue within tight, fast-moving sales windows.
- Act as the central connector, ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability for live events, bridging the sales team with the Market Activation team.
- Share valuable industry experience from clients and media agencies to help shape “our way of selling” for live programming.
- Educate clients and partners alongside Sales Partners to package and pitch traditional sponsorships alongside more sophisticated integrations.
- Refine external go-to-market materials, partnering with Market Activation to ensure sales materials provide transparent, comprehensive commercial guidelines, including explicit unit-level pricing and clear Run-of-Network (RON) or additional strategic media match terms.
- Contribute to team culture by practicing extraordinary candor, willingly giving and receiving constructive feedback, and openly sharing post-campaign learnings.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Solid experience in live sports commercialization, ad sales strategy, or monetization.
- Proven track record of owning and designing complex go-to-market launches from idea to execution and iterating based on performance.
- Deep market knowledge: A strong understanding of the TV/CTV ecosystem, specifically how major HoldCos and top-200 spenders value premium live sports inventory.
- Evidence of good judgment: Ability to look beyond short-term fixes, solve complex problems pragmatically, and make wise decisions despite ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills: You can seamlessly connect technical, operational, and commercial teams, and you are comfortable committing to a strategy even if you initially disagreed with it.
- Pre-existing, senior-level relationships across major HoldCos (which control ~70% of TV/CTV spend) to rapidly unlock heavily pre-allocated budgets during short sales windows.
- Experience working in a high-autonomy, high-accountability environment.
