This is a 12 month Digital Content Project Manager, Retail Online contract, London – Hybrid working – 3 days on site, paying £288.50 daily PAYE.

About The Role
As a key member of the Digital Content Management team, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-impact online marketing campaigns, strategic business programs, and critical new product introductions. This role demands a dynamic leader who thrives in ambiguity, loves solving complex problems, and can translate broad vision into actionable plans. You will be the central point of contact, partnering closely with marketing, business, product management, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution and an unparalleled customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary functional authority and consultant during the design and development phases of online campaign projects.
- Manage and communicate the development of comprehensive project launch plans.
- Oversee detailed planning for go-live assets and deliverables, ensuring meticulous execution.
- Validate all campaign aspects at each milestone, from launch to takedown, upholding brand consistency and safeguarding the customer experience.
- Lead cross-functional teams to establish timelines and content management requirements across multiple, concurrent projects.
- Educate partner teams on publishing processes and requirements for the online platform.
- Report project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to leadership teams with clarity and foresight.
- Participate in post-release analysis to identify successes and challenges, continuously applying learnings to improve future project deliveries and execution.
- Champion effective and sustainable process solutions, driving continuous improvement within the team.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with corporate partners to ensure the delivery of the best possible experience to customers.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Solid project management experience OR strong hands-on experience working with large-scale global content and product catalog management systems.
- Proven experience coordinating global cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, design, technical, localization, quality assurance).
- Demonstrated success in launching large-scale global marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including mobile.
- A strong understanding of web publishing tools and other technical concepts, including a working knowledge of web technologies such as PHP, HTML, Photoshop, and various digital asset types.
- Some specific experience working with product catalog management systems and large-scale global content.
- Exceptional influencing skills with the ability to lead upward and communicate effectively to a global audience.
- A passion for delivering consistently high-quality work on schedule, even in rapidly changing environments with ambiguity and short turnaround times.
- Ability to develop strong relationships quickly and effectively manage difficult decisions and conflicting points of view.
- Exhibits a high degree of ownership, accountability, and a positive, motivational attitude.
- Demonstrated success in leading multiple projects, priorities, and people concurrently.
- Sound written and verbal communication, coupled with excellent planning, execution, and follow-up skills.
