As a Junior QA Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional gaming experiences to players worldwide. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with game development and design teams to understand game specifications, mechanics, and objectives.
- Test the functionality of features as they are implemented, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate game builds, identifying and reporting any issues.
- Track and validate bug fixes, ensuring that issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.
- Assist in coordinating and conducting playtests with larger groups, gathering valuable feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Compile playtest feedback and meticulously log issues for the development team to address.
- Stay up-to-date with platform technical requirements, checklists, and submission processes, ensuring compliance and smooth game releases.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a QA role within the gaming industry (mobile, console, and Nintendo Switch) on games gone to market.
- Experience developing or testing games built in a popular game engine.
- Experience shipping games on console or mobile platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, facilitating seamless teamwork with cross-functional teams.
