Job Title: Content Strategist EMEA
Client Location: London – hybrid; 1-2 days onsite
Starting: January 2025
Salary/Pay Rate: up to £340 daily PAYE
Duration: 6 months, potential to extend
Job Description:
You will work closely with the Lead Content Strategist to generate proposals at a high creative and strategic standard, as well as building on audience insights to enhance user engagement and underpin the strategy of the campaign plan. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of storytellers and content creators, including Designers, Producers, Writers and Project Managers.
You will be responsible for the concept development, strategy, write up and delivery of high-quality campaign proposals for client’s AdSales teams and prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop/conceive, write and edit film, digital, and social concept proposals
- Integrate strong creative storytelling, and commercial content strategy, into ideas and proposals
- Develop proposal decks and write-ups for creative campaigns, including content rollout plans
- Work with audience data and consumer insights, and incorporating audience insight studies and analysis into your campaign ideas
- Attend internal sales kick-off meetings, acting as a point of contact for concept development queries and leading the creative development of campaigns
- Represent client in a professional manner at prospective and returning client meetings
Requirements
Essential:
- 5+ years experience writing and developing branded/commercial content
- Previous experience conceptualising film, digital, and social campaigns for international markets
- Robust research and writing skills
- Familiarity with working to guidelines, and to high editorial standards
- Knowledge of producing native advertising or sponsored editorial content
- Understanding of content channels and effective distribution systems (e.g. social platforms, SEO, advertising formats)
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Adobe Omniture, Global Web Index, Slack
- Experience of pitching directly to clients
- Previous experience in an international media publisher and/or international companies preferred
Desirable:
- Above average writing and communication skills
- Experience producing branded film content
- General knowledge of Adobe Creative Platforms and other production applications
