We are seeking a talented and reliable Junior Freelance Graphic Designer to join a vibrant design team. In this role, you will play an integral part in bringing brand campaigns and stories to life, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and on-brand design across a multitude of platforms. You’ll contribute to creating both brand-led and account-specific assets, adapting global guidelines for local markets, retail partners, and experiential environments. This is an exciting opportunity to embed yourself within a beloved brand and make a tangible impact on its visual communication.

You will be instrumental in developing best-in-class design across multiple concurrent projects, working in a fast-paced yet rewarding environment. Your work will span longer-term projects, including regional sell-in materials, retail guidelines, experiential toolkits, internal handbooks, and training materials, all vital for the business to operate as a best-in-class sport and lifestyle brand. This is a freelance, project-based role until December 2026, offering £4,400 per month fixed fee (£200 per day). On-site presence is required (2/3x per week) in Warrington, UK. What You’ll Do

  • Creative Development & Asset Production: Support the creation of campaign toolkits, digital and social content, retail experiential designs, and out-of-home materials for priority markets. Collaborate with key retail accounts to translate brand vision into compelling visuals.
  • Localization & Adaptation: Localize and adapt global creative assets for regional and retailer-specific requirements, ensuring high-quality execution across every consumer touchpoint.
  • Experiential and Retail Support: Design and resize retail creative assets for both full-price and outlet store environments, maintaining brand consistency while optimizing layouts for varying footprints, formats, and in-store hardware.
  • Visual Merchandising: Develop experiential and retail design assets, including windows, visual merchandising toolkits, in-store graphics, point-of-sale materials, and branded fixtures, translating campaign concepts into scalable executions.
  • Brand Stewardship: Collaborate with senior designers to ensure all assets are strong, on-brand, commercially focused, and relevant to consumers. Provide clear, thoughtful design recommendations covering layout, visual hierarchy, typography, image usage, and brand tone of voice.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various Marketing teams to transform commercial priorities and product stories into impactful visual outputs.
  • External Partnerships: Work with trusted media partners and other external collaborators to develop paid-media assets (out-of-home, social, digital video), optimizing files for each platform and market while adhering to global direction.
  • Workflow Management: Effectively manage your workload to meet agreed timelines, balancing multiple briefs while upholding high creative standards.
  • Process & Team Support: Adhere to established workflows for creative reviews, file delivery, and asset management. Contribute to seamless processes and strong communication within the creative function, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and fast turnaround times.

Qualifications

  • First-class experience with Mac and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
  • Demonstrated experience working (min. 2 years) with a wide range of internal departments, stakeholders, and agency partners, serving as a consistent creative thread.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present and defend creative work to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking capabilities, coupled with attention to detail.
  • An understanding of leading brand identities, as well as the landscape of fashion and performance.
  • An instinctive brand guardian with a deep understanding and empathy for brands and their longevity.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Figma.
