About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a regional consumer products franchise management and marketing team.
As a graduate intern, you will play a key role in supporting strategic planning and marketing efforts, directly impacting the continued success of some of the world’s most beloved entertainment brands.
Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that marketing materials are current, content is effectively distributed, and market insights are leveraged to drive engagement and growth across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all regional marketing materials (e. g., Presentations, sizzles, toolkits) always have the latest and most relevant information.
- Manage the distribution of franchise and marketing content across the region, ensuring timely access to information and assets for the appropriate stakeholders.
- Support region-led events, including licensing summits, trade shows, and crucial licensee/retailer meetings.
- Monitor the marketplace and competitor activity, including store-checking across a range of retailers, and provide summaries of key highlights and learnings.
- Review cross-divisional information (e. g., content distribution, digital media, interactive entertainment) and research data, selecting key relevant points for regional use.
- Take minutes and prepare agendas for internal meetings and conference calls when an EA is not present.
- Own marketing submissions from end-to-end as the job owner.
- Assign marketing submissions to the relevant Manager/Director in the case of bespoke marketing requests.
- Obtain necessary internal/external and third-party approvals (including Legal, Brand Assurance usage rights, and Talent) for all consumer products driven marketing materials and assets for licensees and promotional partners.
- Solicit industry and competitive trend information from Sales/Retail, Category, Creative/Product Development, and Global Insights teams, as well as external data sources.
- Manage the regional content sharing platform and ensure regular communication regarding new uploads and dissemination of materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key licensee marketing contacts.
- Track and collate key marketing initiatives, curating overviews of significant activities.
- Build close working relationships with the regional Creative/Product Development team.
- Collect and submit updates for the weekly scoop and quarterly newsletter.
