Our client is an independent integrated communications agency with a core focus on digital. From financial services, travel and retail, the agency has a diverse range of briefs covering many communication channels. They have a fun, collaborative culture with a passion for insightful strategy, premium creative work and delivering excellent client service. The office is based in a WeWork space in Victoria, so there’s plenty of activities to enjoy. They recently opened a New York office to service their growing US client base.
We are looking for an ambitious and tenacious Account Director to play a key role in the agency’s wider leadership team and to be part of our exciting US growth plans. If you enjoy helping clients to solve their strategic challenges and deliver outstanding creative work, this could be the role for you. The role:
- Supporting the Client Services Director and Managing Director in delivering the agency’s commercial and strategic objectives
- Building and managing senior client relationships
- Walking the client corridors to secure new briefs and grow agency income
- Strategic account planning across multiple client teams
- Writing briefs and proposals, briefing and assessing creative work, oversight and end-to-end project delivery
- Financial planning and reporting across key client groups and delivering income against quarterly and annual financial targets
- Managing integrated B2C and B2B campaigns with a variety of activity including paid display, paid social, email, direct mail, webpages, video, radio and print
- Leading and managing a team
- Playing a key role in the wider team on business development and pitches
- Hybrid working at WeWork Victoria / from home
You will have:
- Relevant agency experience with minimum 2 years as Account Director
- Excellent leadership and project management skills
- Knowledge of integrated marketing – especially print, digital and social media
- Can think strategically, creatively and commercially
- Ability to establish relationships with new/existing clients at all levels
- Proven track record of helping to win and grow accounts
- Sees the bigger picture but has a laser focus on the detail
- Never settles for ‘ok’
- Excellent presentation skills and a confident communicator
- A people person and supportive team player, who leads from the front
- Can do’ attitude and problem solver, always going above and beyond
- Ability to manage lots of projects at once, work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Not afraid to get their hands dirty
- Entrepreneurial spirit and always asks ‘Why?’
The package:
- £50k – £60k basic
- Bonus scheme
- 25 days holiday plus 3 to be taken between Christmas and New Year
