Job Description
Step into the vibrant world of sports marketing and make a real impact with a leading in-house agency, partnered with Aquent. As Account Director, you’ll be at the forefront, crafting and executing high-profile campaigns for a nationally recognized sports brand. This role offers a unique blend of creative strategy and client leadership, allowing you to shape how millions of fans connect with their favorite sport.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to lead the charge in developing fully integrated campaigns that span across various channels, from digital and social media to captivating out-of-home experiences. You will be the key liaison with the client, building strong relationships and providing strategic guidance. Collaborating closely with internal creative, strategy, and production teams, you’ll ensure seamless execution from initial concept to final delivery. This is a contract, hybrid role based in West London, offering£369 per day via Umbrella. The shortlisted candidates will be contacted by COB Wed 9th July
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and manage day-to-day client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on brand and campaign activities.
- Lead the development and execution of fully integrated campaigns across multiple channels (AV, digital, social, OOH, print, and experiential).
- Translate strategic objectives into compelling creative briefs and guide their execution.
- Uphold creative excellence, ensuring all work aligns with brand guidelines, effectively meets business goals, and resonates with the target audience.
- Collaborate seamlessly with strategy, creative, and production teams to ensure smooth project delivery from concept to completion.
- Oversee project timelines, scopes, and budgets, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and process.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- A demonstrable passion for sports, either through professional experience or personal enthusiasm.
- Proven experience as an Account Director (or a Senior Account Manager ready for the next step) within a reputable agency environment.
- A strong track record of delivering fully integrated campaigns, ideally within the sports or entertainment sector.
- Strategic thinking capabilities combined with exceptional communication and client management skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience leading a rebrand and overseeing its implementation across multiple channels.
- A collaborative and solution-oriented approach, coupled with a calm and confident demeanor under pressure.
