Please read on..... because at Oddy Hydraulics in Hunslet, we need a new office manager.
It\'s an office-based role, and the hours are 8.30 - 5, Monday to Friday.
We are a business of 15 people who specialise in bespoke hydraulic power packs, maintenance and spares.
We don\'t have a perfect background in mind - that\'s up to you to tell us in the interview process.
But what is absolutely vital is that you\'re bright, level-headed, well-organised, and will find purpose and probably a lot of pleasure in a role like this.
It\'s a role central to our business, so you\'ll enjoy being an integral part of Oddy.
Ideally, we would like someone who knows about hydraulics or another area of engineering (of course we would - don\'t stop reading), but someone who can demonstrate technical competence from another background is also of interest.
If you can show us that you\'ve picked up something similar or relevant, and you\'re the sort of character we need, then that\'s great for us.
You\'ll be involved with all the incoming enquiries, managing engineers\' schedules, quotations, purchasing, external suppliers - in fact, whatever needs doing.
You\'ll probably have a pretty good idea of what a role like this in a small business will involve.
