If you know anything about electrical engineering, then you\’ll know how in demand good people are – especially those who can create the software and manage installations. Can you become that engineer at Global Bakery Solutions? We\’re an employee owned SME in Burnley, with a great reputation in the bakery industry, known for quality machinery and great service. We\’ve got the knowledge to develop you into a valuable and highly-skilled engineer,write PLC software from scratch, commission machinery, troubleshoot and manage installations. We want to develop more experts in our field. You will certainly be building yourself a great niche for your career. You\’ll be out and about in this role, working on customer sites when required. You will be based in Burnley on a day-to-day basis; it\’s a very hands-on role where you\’ll be learning, fiddling, tinkering, observing, and probably messing things up and learning how to fix them. There\’s a few things you\’ll need to be: – Bright, inquisitive, and ready and able to learn – Experienced in an electrical role in an engineering business, ideally machinery – Commutable to Burnley – Able to travel when required (you\’ll get plenty of notice) – Motivated and keen, with the drive to improve yourself. We\’ll obviously pay you a salary to attract you – overtime, a profit share, health cover.
