What Are We Looking For? Remote working opportunities available. Aquazone is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join us on a permanent basis. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support our Projects & Modular divisions to form detailed designs from implementation through to delivery, ensuring compliance with client specifications. Established in 1995 Aquazone has risen to become one of the industry’s leading providers of off-site manufactured Chemical Dosing Systems. With an established fleet of temporary bulk storage & dosing systems, combined with our extensive off-site fabrication capabilities & several framework agreements with the leading UK Water Authorities, we are primed to continue our growth journey. Some of Your Key Duties Include: * Oversee design aspects of projects from project handover to completion. * Compile design specifications & ensure compliance to industry & client standards. * Conduct site surveys (UK wide). * Produce electrical design calculations using Trimble or similar software. * Produce electrical drawing such as Single Line Drawing and Loops. * Complete checking and approval processes. * Check & complete procurement BoM for purchasing. * Project change procedures and programme feedback. * On occasions take responsibility on allocated projects. * Comply with company quality assurance procedures. What Do You Need? * Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. * Demonstrate experience of electrical design. * Experience of working within the water industry is preferred but not essential. * Experience of working in a multidiscipline engineering team. * Good knowledge of AutoCAD and AMTECH * Good written and verbal communications skills. * Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively. * Strong design and technical skills. * The ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail required. * Full UK Driving Licence Aquazone – Who Are We?
