Aquatic Control Engineering (ACE) are a leader within their sector, delivering turnkey mechanical and electrical solutions for water management, flood defence and environmental services. As part of this, ACE manufactures and supplies the AQUIKO range of standard water control products, including penstocks, flap valves, WaStop non-return valves, orifice plates and headwalls, designed and built in the UK for the water and flood defence industry.
About the Role
We are looking for a self-motivated, driven and proactive Internal Sales Account Executive to join our Standard Sales Team, representing our AQUIKO brand. Based at our headquarters in Rampton, this is a customer-facing role where you will act as the first point of contact for our clients. You will play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience while building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will respond to customer enquiries, provide timely and accurate product quotations and offer suitable alternative solutions where needed. This may involve working closely with colleagues across the wider business to ensure the best outcomes for our customers. You will also be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of reseller and contractor accounts across the UK and Ireland, as well as re-engaging lapsed customers to identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively and part of a team to support the team's success
- Follow up on enquiries and active opportunities
- Interpret customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions where needed
- Generate new sales leads and opportunities in line with ongoing marketing campaigns
- Direct sales leads to the appropriate teams/departments
- Maintain the CRM system, ensuring data is relevant and accurate
- Provide knowledgeable advice on the AQUIKO product range, matching solutions to customer needs
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service across every interaction
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience in account administration, account management, internal sales, or a relationship-focused B2B sales role
- A confident and professional telephone manner, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and consistently follow up on opportunities
- An understanding of customer challenges and providing suitable, solution-focused outcomes
- Demonstrate experience working towards KPIs and sales targets
- A willingness to learn about our products and industry; full training will be provided
