Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr – $300,000.00/yr

At Aquatic, we are actively recruiting for a Software Engineer, C++ experienced in developing, managing, and maintaining systems in production in London. In this role, you will partner with the Quantitative Research team to build battle-tested production trading systems and create automated infrastructure to accelerate delivery of new models to live trading.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, high-performance data and model pipelines.
• Build tools that enable seamless, automated, and reproducible deployment of models into live trading environments.
• Enhance the performance, reliability, scalability, and throughput of real-time trading systems.

Technical Experience

• 1+ years of professional experience writing high-performance C++ (C++14/17/20)
• Strong familiarity with Linux systems programming, networking, and multithreading
• Passion for clean, well-architected code and systems design
