We’re looking for a hands‑on Electronics Engineer who loves solving complex problems and bringing ambitious technology to life. You’ll be central to designing, prototyping, and optimising advanced electronics for cold atom and quantum systems. This isn’t a "follow the manual" job, you’ll help shape your role, work across disciplines, and tackle real engineering challenges head‑on. What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with scientists & engineers to define system requirements for quantum technologies.
- Design, develop & test low‑noise analog and digital circuits.
- Implement control and data acquisition systems for cutting‑edge experiments.
- Debug & optimise complex electronic hardware for reliable performance.
- Integrate and test next‑generation quantum devices.
- Continuously improve hardware & software solutions.
What We Are Looking For:
- BSc/MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (PhD or Systems Engineering background is a plus).
- 3+ years’ experience in electronics design and prototyping for high‑performance systems.
- Strong skills in analog & digital circuit design, PCB layout, and prototyping.
- Experience with GHz RF circuits highly desirable.
- Background in cold atom, FPGA, or quantum technologies (atomic clocks, sensors, computing) is a big advantage.
- Proficiency with relevant programming languages & design tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Start‑up mindset: proactive, flexible, and hands‑on.
